Time: 6-9pm

KIAC and the TH Youth Center will be offering a series of 4 screen-printing workshops this September.

Each class will cover the basic steps of screen printing, so feel free to come to all of them, or just one or two.

Image Preparation Options:

  1. Email a black and white image to programs@kiac.ca during the week before the workshop (send it before Wednesday at noon).
  2. Bring a black and white pen/sharpie drawing to the workshop (we can scan it)- the thicker and more solid the lines, the easier to print.
  3. Choose from a sample of images supplied by the workshop instructor.

More Info:

We will be running similar workshops (though different art mediums) in October, November and December. If you are a youth participant, send us an email detailing what you would like to see taught this fall. Carving? Beading? Photography? Theater? Jewellery? Graffiti?

If you are a working artist in town and might be interested in leading a series of youth workshops, send us an email with your proposed medium.
